Spektra-5000

The first software recreation of the Kawai K5000. Six additive sources, sixty-four harmonics in each, and a morph engine that moves between whole spectra while you play.

The Spektra-5000 SOURCE page: an additive DCO with coarse, fine and pitch-envelope knobs, a DCF filter set to Low Pass and Enhanced, amplitude and filter envelope curves, an LFO row, and an eight-octave keyboard along the bottom

The engine

Additive · six sources

Six sources, sixty-four harmonics

Each source carries its own spectrum of sixty-four harmonics. All six play at once.

MORF

MORF is the spectral morph engine. It moves between whole spectra while you play.

Four filter modes

The DCF runs Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass or Notch. Legacy is the authentic non-resonant K5000 filter. Enhanced adds resonance and the extra modes.

Byte-identical SysEx

K5000 SysEx round-trips byte for byte. Export what you imported and the bytes match.
